Once your power is restored, this battery will recharge the Medical Alert to be ready for the next power disruption. There is no need for an annual replacement of the battery in the medical alert.

If the phone connected to your communicator is off the hook, you have no worries with our medical alert, the call will go out. If an extension phone is in use or you are on the Internet, a special phone jack is needed in order to seize the phone line for your medical alert help call. We offer this phone jack at a small additional charge.
